Girls Basketball Australia are constantly trying to find new ways to promote Girls Basketball at the grassroots level. The "Who's That Girl" campaign strives to create awareness of all the incredible feats that junior basketball players are achieving at the grassroots level, and increase awareness around their amazing abilities by recognising and rewarding their efforts.

Ava Kelman - Casey Cavaliers U12.1's
Ava is impressive both on and off the court. Her enthusiasm and dedication to the game is amazing.
Her enthusiasm rubs off on others, she finds a way to motivate people to be the best they can be.
Ava either trains or plays every day of the week and she never misses a training session.
At the age of 10, she has just put her hand up to coach an U8's girls team!
She plays domestically in U12's and U14's and representative for Casey Cavaliers 12.1's in the VJBL.
She's a positive role model for young girls, she plays fair, but is hard at the ball and has a "never give up attitude".
She is always cheering on and motivating her teams mates, keeping spirits high.
She is always listening to her coaches, she is an on-court leader always directing and assisting her teammates.
Her basketball speaks for itself, but her motivation, dedication and desire to be a team player at all costs is what is incredible!
Rhiannon Murray - Southern Peninsula Sharks U16.2's
Rhiannon played 35 mins last Friday night for 23 points, then backed it up on the weekend, starting in 2 x Big V youth league games where she had over a dozen points and rebounds in 40 odd minutes. Coming from a second team where she wasn't considered for youth league to now being the starting centre is a testament to the hard work she's put in to get this far.
